Anti-Wrinkle Treatment

Multiple small injections of Botulinum Toxin type A can be used in common areas of wrinkles such as the forehead, frown lines and crow’s feet. The neurotoxin works by blocking neurotransmitters in the targeted muscle to prevent full movement of the muscle. This ultimately reduces deepening of pre-existing lines and the result seen is a softening of existing wrinkles. Results are first seen after 1-2 weeks and on average will last 3-4 months as the toxin is gradually metabolised.

Gummy Smile treatment

A gummy smile refers to the excess of gum visible above the top teeth when smiling. This treatment uses small injections of botulinum toxin to paralyse the muscles responsible for the excessive movement of the upper lip, resulting in less gum showing on smiling. Results are first seen after 1-2 weeks and on average last between 3-4 months.

Dermal Fillers

Dermal fillers are utilised in multiple areas in the face to add volume for improved definition and enhancement of facial structures. An injectable form of hyaluronic acid is delivered in precise locations in the soft tissue with a micro-cannula for safe and predictable results.

Lip Augmentation – Lip Augmentation refers to the use of dermal fillers to add volume to the lips. This can also aid in balancing asymmetry and correcting proportions.

Cheek and Tear Trough Filler – Dermal fillers can be used to add structure where volume has been lost due to ageing or loss of fat in the area, resulting in hollows.

Nose Augmentation – Noses can be enhanced using dermal filler for a non-surgical option for straightening and lifting. This can be used in combination with lip and chin filler for profile balancing.

Chin and Jawline Augmentation – Hyaluronic acid filler is used to improve the definition and structure of both the jawline and chin. Treatment of the chin can also be used in combination with nose and lip augmentation for profile balancing.

Skinboosters & Mesotherapy

Skinboosters involve an injectable form of hyaluronic acid, placed below the skin surface targeting problems such as dullness and premature skin aging. The treatment delivers deep skin hydration, targets fine lines and restores the skin density.

Skinboosters can be combined with targeted mesotherapy which can be tailored to your individual skin type. This can treat problems such as:

  • Scarring
  • Skin laxity and loss of tone
  • Pigmentation
  • Dullness
  • Acne-prone skin

We recommend 3 or 4 sessions 1 month apart, and for optimal results; one top up session every 6 months.

Please note skinbooster treatments are tailored to each individual, therefore a full face consultation is recommended prior to any treatment. Here we can also discuss and recommend a tailored at-home skincare routine for optimal long-term results.

Eyelash enhancement

Long and full eyelashes have been a desired feminine trait since ancient Egyptian times, a prominent and alluring feature enhanced day to day with beauty products such as mascara. We can enhance our lashes further with false lashes and extensions, however there is a way to improve the length and thickness of your natural lashes, meaning less maintenance and more predictable long-term results.

With the use of a prescription eyelash growth serum, applied to the lashes once per day, we can expect an increase in length (25%) and thickness (>100%) of lashes after only 3-4 weeks, with maximum results after 4 months of continuous use. The serum works by extending the period where each eyelash stays in the growth (anagen) stage, therefore resulting in longer fuller lashes.

Every patient requires a full-face consultation prior to receiving this treatment as it’s a prescription only medicine.

Hyperhidrosis treatment

Hyperhidrosis refers to excessive sweating, most commonly seen in the armpits. Botulinum toxin can be used to treat this often uncomfortable problem and works by reducing the activity of the sweat glands in the affected area.

Multiple small injections of botulinum toxin are targetted in areas of excessive sweating such as the armpits or palms of your hands. Results are first seen after 1-2 weeks following initial treatment and last on average 3-6 months. Please note, multiple treatments may be required.

Bruxism treatment

Bruxism refers to excessive clenching and or grinding of the teeth and jaws which is triggered in periods of stress or often it can be habitual.

Small injections of botulinum toxin can be used in the masseter and temporalis muscles responsible for creating these strong movements/tension. This aims to relax and therefore prevent related jaw pain associated with clenching and grinding habits.

A welcome side effect of these injections often seen is facial slimming. This is due to the muscles involved being used less, therefore become smaller over time and resulting in a slimmer appearance to the lower face.

It is important to visit your dentist if you have signs or symptoms of bruxism for full assessment. Aetiology of the problem is often complex and we can look into the cause of pain as well as potential toothwear prevention. Please note, we tailor this treatment to each individual and in severe cases, referral to a specialist is required.

Results last 3-6 months and multiple treatments may be required.
